Voices of Recovery San Mateo County
Voices of Recovery is for people seeking and maintaining long-term recovery from their own addictions, and long-term recovery from being affected by other people's addictions.
February 2012 Updates from our Director
SAMHSA’s National Recovery Month Committee met in Rockville, MD on January 25th, and I had the privilege of being there. What an incredible experience!
I met with Ms. Pat Taylor, Executive Director of Faces and Voices of Recovery, and Henry Lozano Director, Los Angeles County Teen Challenge and Urban Ministry Initiative who share our interest in wellness and recovery.
We will collaborate and network with them and many other organizations that were present in the coming months.
Our participation at this conference opened doors for VORSMC and for San Mateo County. We were invited back to the second planning partners meeting on March 29Th.
