VORSMC recognizes the importance of Social Networking, building Support Systems and having FUN for people in recovery. Voices of Recovery of San Mateo County
is recruiting Members for its Board of Directors
We are excited to share this request with all interested community members. Voices of Recovery San Mateo County is now selecting its first board of directors group. Please review our Mission Statement above. We are seeking interested members from the recovery community and those affected by addiction, leaders, business owners and the public at large, who are all invited to our selection process. Among the requirements of our board members, please be able and willing to:
• Attend Board meetings (2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 pm)
• Participate on at least 1 committee
• Commit to a term of three years as a Director
• Commit to the Mission of VORSMC and its Board
• Work in partnership with the local community, county, state, and federal agencies and organizations for the furtherance of the mission of VORSMC
